SPEECH PATHOLOGY
+ DIAGNOSTIC ASSESSMENT
Sally works alongside local health professionals on a client’s journey towards a potential diagnosis of a range of communication and learning disorders. Should you or a family member be requiring a formal assessment to help determine a range of diagnoses, such as a Specific Learning Disorder (otherwise known as Dyslexia) or Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sally can assess the required components that form part of the multi-disciplinary assessment. The assessment clinic operates on a Saturday morning.
INITIAL
ASSESSMENT
At the initial appointment Sally will assess each client, analyse assessment findings and establish potential treatment goals.
An initial assessment takes between 45-60 minutes.
FORMAL STANDARDISED
ASSESSMENTS
Formal assessments required for diagnostic/funding purposes comprise the administration of the required assessments, and analysis and interpretation of results.
These assessments generally take 2 hours to complete.
Assessment results, analysis and recommendations are provided within a full comprehensive report completed following the assessment.
THERAPY
SESSIONS
Therapy sessions include direct therapy, and time for discussion regarding progress and planning.
45 minute speech therapy sessions are offered to all clients.
